Sustainability Correspondent: Corey in Christchurch, New Zealand

Bio: Corey O’Callaghan is a first-semester junior studying math and (hopefully) an interdisciplinary major at Amherst College. They are from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and this semester they are attending the University of Canterbury in Aotearoa New Zealand through the Frontiers Abroad program! Corey is passionate about how environmentalism and people interact, and they are especially interested in water rights and management. They are excited to learn more about these topics while exploring Aotearoa New Zealand! Corey also works at the Class and Access Resource Center and enjoys going rock climbing. Outside of academics, Corey can be found making earrings, going to the beach, watching sunsets, playing Dungeons and Dragons, or reading science fiction novels.
